What Is Clarity Pro?

Clarity Pro is a tool for professionals to use with patients to support their aging- and health-related financial and legal planning needs.

Clarity Pro is one component of the Clarity program, which includes:

1. The Clarity public website, for individuals seeking information and support for themselves, family, and friends;
2. Clarity Pro (this website), for individual professionals;
3. Clarity Driven, Clarity content licensed for organizational use; and
4. Clarity Consulting Support, for organizations implementing Clarity and related patient/client support services.

Who Is Clarity Pro For?

Clarity Pro is for professionals who directly serve individuals and their caregivers needing to do financial and legal planning due to aging or health conditions. Some of the roles that may benefit from Clarity Pro include:

What Can I Do with Clarity Pro?

Use Clarity Pro to help identify social, legal and financial planning needs of patients and clients you serve and connect them to the right resources. Clarity Pro will match your individual patient needs with the best resources within and outside of Clarity, savng them time and making your recommendations more effective.

The Clarity Mission and Team

The Clarity team believes that everyone has a right to live with dignity, community, and choices as we age. Achieving that right takes resources and planning not all of us know how to access. Clarity and Clarity Pro are designed to empower people to say what matters to them, take steps to make plans, and access resources they will need to meet their goals. Clarity is developed and delivered by the UCSF-UC Law SF Consortium on Law, Science, & Health Policy, in partnership with People Designs. The Clarity team has decades of experience designing and studying tools that demystify medical-legal topics for the public and to support health access for everyone.

Clarity is not affiliated with any financial or for-profit legal service providers or companies or with any governmental agencies. Portions of Clarity have been supported by grants from the National Institutes on Aging and the AARP Foundation.

What Does Clarity Pro Cost?

Thanks to the generous support of the AARP Foundation, we are able to provide Clarity Pro for free until 2027! You can create an account without providing any financial information and begin using Clarity Pro immediately at no cost.

Starting in 2027, if we are unable to secure additional grant or philanthropic support, Clarity Pro accounts will require an annual subscription that supports its ongoing maintenance and delivery. The public Clarity website will always be free for non-professional use.
